Telecommunications giant MTN Group has denied alleged plans to list its Nigerian unit on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
There have been reports that once MTN Nigeria resolves the disputed N780 billion fine with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), it would get listed on the NSE.

However, in a statement issued by the telecoms giant’s Corporate Affairs Executive, Chris Maroleng, the group described the reports as untrue.
According to Mr Maroleng, the listing of MTN Nigeria remains a consideration and not a planned listing, as suggested in some of the media reports.
