The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bauchi State on Monday said it would only absorb the immediate past governor of the state, Mallam Isa Yuguda, into the party, if he accepts the conditions of the APC.
Mr. Yuguda had over the weekend announced his resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), saying he could no longer belong to a party that misappropriated over $2.1 billion meant to procure arms and ammunition to combat Boko Haram.
He, however, did not disclose his next political destination.
Reacting to the news, the Bauchi State Publicity Secretary of APC, Auwalu Aliyu Jallah, in an interview with newsmen, said the party will receive Yuguda whenever he approaches the party for membership registration.
