The Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemicals Company, KRPC, has resumed production, officials said at the weekend.
A check at the facility on Saturday indicated that it had roared back to life.
Some workers confirmed that the refinery came back on stream Friday night after extensive repairs.
“We resumed production on Friday night. By Monday, the lifting of products, especially PMS, will commence”, an official, who pleaded not to be named because he was not authorized to speak to the press, said.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the refinery, Abdullahi Idris, confirmed that the facility restarted operation.
When pressed further for details, Mr. Idris declined further comment, saying any further enquiries should be directed to the appropriate authority at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, headquarters in Abuja.

Good job is happening at NNPC, change is already happening in NNPC. Those who said nothing has change should have a rethink, for the first time in the last 15 years all 3 refineries(Portharcourt,Warri and Kaduna) are now functioning. Shame to the agents of doom.
