The ex-governor was also advised to refund all public funds he allegedly stole back to the state government before he would be allowed to discuss any issue concerning the well-being of the people of the food basket state.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom on Media, Mr. Godwin Akor, stated these while speaking with journalists on Sunday, in Makurdi, the state capital.
According to Akor, Suswam had during his tenure engaged boys and girls, men and women under the now scrapped Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme, SURE-P, but the people were disengaged at the time.
The spokesman to the incumbent governor claimed that over N2bn SURE-P money was allegedly misappropriated by Suswam’s administration.
