The Agency received a distress call at about 09:45am regarding an accident at ibeju-lekki Epe link bridge today 10/09/2016 and responded spontaneously. It was gathered that a Nissan primera coming from Epe inward Ajah was on high speed and on sighting a broken down truck, tried to maneuver and had a head on collision with an incoming truck. The driver of the Nissan car a 30 years old man identified as Mr. Biodun died instantly while two other occupants sustained injuries and has been taken to Akodo General Hospitall for treatment. The Agency’s ERT as well as the DTO of Akodo Police Station, LASTMA and FRSC were present at the scene for the recovery operation. The dead body was recovered, bagged and handed over to the family, The two broken down trucks were towed away to avoid future accidents by the Agency Recovery Trucks and the bridge was reopened for the reopened for vehicles flow. The LASEMA General Manager advised motorist to avoid over speeding and take to other road traffick rule to avoid ugly incidents such as this”
