A video showing a crocodile disrupt a couple swimming in a pool at a resort in Zimbabwe has gone viral.
A security camera at the resort recorded the incident which happened as the couple were having a nighttime swim.
The footage, which was posted to YouTube by user Zimbo88, shows a man and a woman relaxing in the pool after dark on Thursday at the resort in Kariba when a crocodile suddenly appears and then jumps into the water.
The man, who after spotting the reptile, quickly climbs out of the pool and runs, leaving the woman to be cornered by the croc. She then engages in a tussle with the creature until the man returns and distracts it from the rear.
It was after this that the woman was able to escape the pool and flee with the man.
The woman was reported to have suffered some minor bite marks in the struggle, but managed to evade any serious injury.
