Diplo is officially a Nigerian, so many of his fans think.
Yesterday, the American rapper and DJ who is still in Nigeria after his successful concert at Gidi Fest, took to his Instagram to post his photo with Burna Boy with a caption that confirms he’s now a fan of #BBNaija’s Efe.
“Based on Logistics,” the American artiste said in the post, triggering heartwarming reactions among Nigerians who are avid fans of the #BBNaija winner.
Recall that when asked what that catchphrase “Based on Logistics” meant, Efe told the story of the talent show he previously attended, which suffered due to poor organisational planning. He said that when they, the contestants, asked the organisers why the show was facing major delays, they kept repeating that it was a “logistics” issue.
And that was how the catchphrase was born.
Now, “Based on logistics” has become a favourite line. At the build-up of the Big Brother Nigeria finale, major acts who supported Efe indicated their interest using the catchphrase.
Now, “Based on logistics” has gone global and we think it’s high time the #BBNaija winner trademarks it.
