The All Progressives Congress (APC) has nullified the purported suspension of the party’s National Legal Adviser, Dr Muiz Banire, by its executive committee in Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The APC, in a statement signed Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, said the local chapter of the party did not have such powers to suspend a national officer.
According to the party’s constitution, he said such powers resided with the National Executive Committee (NEC).
