A woman has caused a scene in court today as she begged for the release of her husband who has been reportedly held in custody for a year.
A Nigerian woman today cried out in court asking for the release of her husband identified as Bright Chimezie who was allegedly bundled from his home by security operatives and has been held in custody for one year.
According to her, the husband was charged along with Nnamdi Kanu and some other agitators.
The incident which took place in front of a Federal court in Abuja at the resumed hearing of the case against the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Kanu is being tried alongside Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi on a five-count charge of conspiracy to commit treasonable felony and publication of defamatory materials.
