South African rapper AKA has uploaded rare photos of the four generations of his mother’s family.
The Baddest rapper shared the photos with his millions of fans, in a post which revealed that they visited one of his grandmothers who clocks 105 tomorrow. “Today I took Kairo to see her GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER. MEITA ELIZABETH REED who turns 105 tomorrow. What a privilege and a blessing,” he said in one post.
And in the second pic which shows the generations of his family, he said, “Kairo with her grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. 4 GENERATIONS … This is how God replenishes your spirit. I feel amazing. And privileged. And grateful..”
This is the first time the 30-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, would be posting these photos.
AKA shares his daughter Kairo Owethu Forbes with DjJ Zinhle. The former couple broke up in 2015 after he sneaked behind to have an affair with Bonang Matheba while Zinhle was still pregnant with their daughter.
Their break was messy, and for many months, the gory details were splashed on social media. AKA only recently apologised for hurting Zinhle, and this was after he had announced split up from Matheba.
Now, they are at peace, and he given his fans sneak peek into his family.
