Kano state is one of the 6 states, where supplementary polls will hold today, after the first ballot was previously declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
However, there have been series of reports about extreme violence in many of the polling units were election is holding.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have accused the All Progressives Congress,APC, of using thugs to disrupt and rig the process.
They have also alleged that some of their agents were stabbed and chased away from their polling units, while voters intimidation is the order of the day.
In a video shared by the opposition, suspected thugs are seen, beating up people in the presence of armed security men.
