While Nigerians were still battling to forget the painful loss of Kolade Johnson, a young football fan killed some weeks ago in Lagos, by men of the Special Anti-Cultism Squad,SACS, another youth has fallen to police brutality.

For a long time now, Nigerians from all works of life, have called for a total reform of the police – They have lamented the illegal activities of many police personnel, they need to be properly trained, the force needs an overhaul — these are some of the things the people have constantly asked for.

The youths are angry, the uncertainty that it could be anyone today or tomorrow has stirred agitation among young Nigerians. Many have taken to social media to express their pains, loss, fear and what they might do to curb the situation, should government fail to do the needful.

Will Ada’s death force the right hands to work towards ending this menace once and for all?
