Just In: Court nullifies APC primaries in Delta State

A Federal High Court sitting in Asaba on Thursday has nullified the All Progressive Congress, APC governorship primary election conducted in Delta State.

The Plaintiff Hon. Victor Ochei, through his lawyer Mr. Ahmed Rahi, SAN, petitioned the court to declare that the APC gubernatorial primary election that held on September 30,as illegal and unlawful on the ground that delegates used for the election were not party members.

As a result of that, Great Ogboru’s candidacy as the governorship candidate of APC during  the just concluded election has been nullified.
