A former presidential aide and core critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, Reno Omokri says the president is gradually shedding his clannish.
According to the former presidential aide, he criticises Buhari because he is inept and tribalistic but does not fail to commend the president when he does well.
He said this in reaction to reports that the president has nominated Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) governor, Godwin Emefiele for the second term.
Omokri says Emefiele’s nomination shows that the president is slowly learning to listen.
He wrote:
I am a critic of President @MBuhari because I believe he is inept and tribalistic. However, when he does well, I must commend him. In nominating Godwin Emefiele for a 2nd term, Buhari showed he is listening and is slowly shedding his clannish nature. For that, I commend him.
