Gunmen have reportedly invaded a local drinking joint in Gbale village, Edu local government area of Kwara State, abducting four Turkish expatriates as hostages.
According to the Nigerian Tribune, the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m on Saturday, July 20.
The men, who work with Instabul Concrete Limited, Gbale, had taken some time off work to relax at the joint before they were kidnapped.
 The four abducted men are: Yasin Colak (33), Senerapal (40), Ergun Yurdakul (35) and Seyit Keklik (25).

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ajayi Okasanmi, who confirmed the news of their abduction, stated that the state police commissioner, Kayode Egbetokun, had sent out teams under operation Puff Adder to the area, with a mandate to look into the case and bring back the expatriates alive.
The police boss also directed the subsequent arrest of the suspected armed men.
Although, Egbetokun revealed that efforts of the police had started to yield positive results, he did not confirm if any arrest had been made so far.
