Nigerians have taken to their Twitter handle to react, following Federal government’s decision to withdraw corruption charges against Senator Danjuma Goje.
The senator was charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for misappropriating N25 billion when he was Governor of Gombe state.

Goje was discharged of all corruption cases after the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) applied for the withdrawal of the charges on Friday.
Consequently, this has made Nigerians take to social media to fire heavy shots at the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration over his anti-corruption mantra.
Reactions:
If it’s so then I’m highly disappointed wallahi. It will be a setback on the fight against corruption

Of course it’s. I’m disappointed honestly, it’s a political sacrifice that granted goje freedom in exchange for a smooth relationship with the legislature. it’s right politically, while wrong morally and democratically
