The Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed disappointment over the Federal Government’s decision to suspend the proposed Ruga settlements.
Yahaya said this on Friday while speaking with State House Correspondents after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, in Abuja.
The governor revealed that the state has more than 200,000 hectares of land which it is ready to donate for the purpose.

The governor added that the herdsmen deserve sympathy as the conflict between them and farmers is affecting them.
Recall that President Buhari over the week suspended the proposed Ruga Settlement Project.
The project was designed to solve the clashes between herdsmen and farmers.
