Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react to a statement released by the United States Department of Justice, that most of the 80 defendants, charged with conspiracy to commit fraud, conspiracy to launder money, and aggravated identity theft are Nigerians.

According to the FBI, this is the “largest fraud” in US history. On the list released by the U.S Department of Justice, most prominent on the list are Nigerians from the eastern region, and this has stirred a bit of debate in the Nigerian online community.
