Speaking with newsmen in Yola, shortly after a condolence visit to Ahmadu Finitiri, governor of Adamawa, over the death of his father, he added that his move should rather be seen as a move to make the state better.
His words:
“I am not witch-hunting the former governor. There was a committee that we set up that is doing all those things, “he said.
“The findings of the committee have not been made known to me… obviously, this (probe) is to make Imo state better now.”
