Speaking in a series of tweets, he went on to direct the German authority to identify those involved in the act so they can be held accountable.
What he wrote:
The assault yesterday in Germany on former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, is condemnable and shameful.
The barbaric attack is most reprehensible and should be condemned by all right-thinking Nigerians.

Senator Ekweremadu, like all his distinguished colleagues in the Ninth Assembly, is concerned about the insecurity and other challenges in that area and other parts of Nigeria. He has also been at the forefront of the patriotic efforts to find lasting solutions to the challenges.

I urge the German authorities to identify those involved in the despicable act so that the law can take its course against them.
