30 Killed, 18 Vehicles Burnt As Boko Haram Attacks Borno

A fresh attack by Boko Haram terrorists on Borno State has left at least 30 persons dead while no less than 18 vehicles were also completely burnt.

The attack reportedly took place on Sunday evening. The insurgents launched the attack against travelling passengers in Auno, a town 20 kilometres from Maiduguri, Borno state capital.

Ahmad Abdurrahman Bundi, the state government’s spokesman said that the jihadists stormed in on trucks mounted with heavy weapons, killing, burning and looting before kidnapping women and children.
