The minister for health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, has confirmed the recipient of treatment procedures from China following the confirmation of the first case of coronavirus in Lagos state on Friday.

Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja in Friday evening, he further shared that disbursement of about N620m has been made available for necessary procurements.

His words:
“We have received a lot of cooperation; two visits already from the Ambassador of China to Nigeria to reassure us of his commitment and to give us support in any way.
“They sent us a treatment protocol because they have successfully treated over 5,000 people in their country.”
