Rebecca, the mum of Leah Sharibu has stormed the United Kingdom where she is currently appealing to the British government to help her in securing the release of her daughter who has been in Boko Haram’s captivity since 2018.

Speaking in an interview on BBC Hausa service, she expressed optimism that the British government would be able to do something about her daughter.

“I come to Britain to lay my complaints, I need their help. They should help me,I will like my daughter to be freed from captivity,” she said.
