Former vice president Atiku Abubakar has stated that the complete reform of the Nigeria police is long overdue.
Speaking via his official Twitter handle on Tuesday, he further emphasised that the reformation of Special Anti-robbery Unit(SARS) is also long overdue.

Conclusively, he stated that the reform is necessary because the police are meant to protect the life and properties of the citizens and not to put them into harms.
“The reform of the Nigeria Police, especially the SARS unit, is long overdue. The @PoliceNG is meant to protect the life and property of our citizens and not to put them into harm’s way.”
