Femi Fani Kayode, a former minister for aviation, has aired his displeasure as President Muhammadu Buhari continues to maintain silence as Nigeria confirms its first case of coronavirus.

Speaking via his official Twitter handle on Monday, Fani-Kayode stated that if cows were affected by the virus, the president would have done a national broadcast.
“If cows had been the ones affected by #coronavirus &were dying all over the world Buhari would have done a national broadcast by now &told us that what we are facing is the greatest tragedy in world history. Which type of leader puts the lives of cows before that of human beings?”
