Coronavirus: Ghana Imposes Travel Ban On Affected Countries

Ghana has imposed a temporary ban on travellers from countries that have recorded at least 200 or more cases of coronavirus.

As at Sunday, the country has six confirmed cases of coronavirus.

This was contained in a statement, titled ‘Travel Advisory’, signed by the Minister of information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah (MP) on Sunday 15th of March.

According to the statement, any traveller, except for Ghanaian citizens and persons with Ghana residence permits, who, within, the last 14 days, has been to a country that has recorded at least 200 cases of Covid-19, will not be admitted into the Ghanaian jurisdiction.
