Egypt Suspends Flights Over Coronavirus Outbreak

Egypt has joined the growing list of African countries to impose a travel ban on foreign nationals to curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

The Egyptian state media reported on Monday that it will suspend all flights in Egyptian airports starting on Thursday 19th of March to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Most of the countries in the Middle East have partially or fully suspended flights over the past week.

The Egyptian government has already suspended schools and universities for two weeks, according to state media.

Egypt is the latest African country to take these measures to safeguard its citizens.
