According to reports, Mr Patrick Areghan has been appointed as the new Head of National Office for Nigeria by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
This new development was made known to newsmen on Tuesday by the Head of Public Affairs Unit of the organisation in Nigeria, Mr Demianus Ojijeogu.

The spokesperson of the council in the country noted that Areghan was appointed to succeed Mr Olutise Adenipekun, who retired last Thursday after spending over 30 years in the organisation.
He said the new appointee was the Head of Test Administration Division of the organisation and that he joined WAEC in 1989 as an Assistant Registrar II before his new position.
