Women’s Right Advocate Slams NGOs, Individuals Using Makoko Community For Photo Opportunities

Women’s Rights Advocate, Oni Oluwafunmi has slammed non-governmental organizations and individuals for using Makoko community in Lagos as photo opportunities.

Taking to Twitter, the women’s right advocate wrote;

”At this point, I am sick and disgusted by the photo of so-called NGO’s use Makoko for.

” every time I enter the community, there is always an NGO / person donating biscuits and taking 1 million pictures. The gadgets are more expensive than the projects itself.

”Someone shared soft drinks, made the children sing him a birthday song and proceeded to take several pictures.

”Shey wan fi shey yin ni? Does it make y’all feel better??”
