Former lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye has issued a warning to President Muhammadu Buhari against using force on peaceful protesters.
According to Melaye, the decision of Nigerians to march out is their right, hence threats should be avoided.

He further stated that the technic that should be applied by the federal government is fairness, consideration, and cooperation.
He wrote:
“My advice to President Buhari on threats to Endsars protesters. Though force can protect in emergency, only justice, fairness, consideration and cooperation can finally lead men to the dawn of eternal peace. Protest is an inalienable right. SDM”
