Men of the Nigerian Army on Monday engaged insurgents in gunfire over an attempt to take over Dikwa town in Borno State, Nigeria.

According to TheCable, a military source revealed that the insurgents targeted Dikwa because the town is a border area that will be useful for transporting materials for their (insurgents) operation.
