UK Prime Minister Appoints Kemi Badenoch As Secretary Of State

Kemi Badenoch, a British-Nigerian member of parliament, has been appointed by Liz Truss, the new prime minister of the United Kingdom, to her cabinet.

Recall that Badenoch, a member of the Conservative Party, ran for British Prime Minister and finished in the top five in July.

In a post on the verified Twitter page of the UK Prime Minister, @10DowningStreet, Badenoch was appointed as the Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade.
