England International, Reece James will be on the sidelines for eight weeks after seeing a knee specialist this weekend for the injury he suffered on Tuesday against AC Milan.
The Chelsea star will not require surgery and, thus, will likely not be out for a lengthy spell.
Chelsea confirmed the injury on its official website on Saturday.

The injury means he will be out until after the World Cup and puts his participation in the World Cup for England under serious doubt.
James isn’t giving up on playing at the World Cup and has set himself an ambitious and hopeful target.
“The race against time is on. But we won’t give up,” James said.
The World Cup will begin on November 20, five weeks away. It is unlikely that England manager Gareth Southgate will include James in the England squad to play in Qatar.
